Japanese culture and technology are becoming very popular all over the world, and the United States is no exception. From laptops to cameras to televisions: the world of technology seems futuristic across the Pacific. Even their watches seem as if they belong in the future.
Toykoflash has a unique mix of Japanese designed watches. From the seemingly normal to the outright creative and colorful, these watches make quite a statement. My personal favorite is the
Shinshoku watch, which is, as the Tokyoflash website states, a stainless steel band that has 29 LED lights that give the time. It took me a few moments of staring at the picture to finally understand how the watch actually tells the time, but once I did, it was so amazing. 12 Red lights give the hour, 3 green lights give 15, 30 and 45 past, and 14 yellow lights to give the minutes. You even have a choice of checking the time normally, or having the lights animated.
The Shinshoku watch and the other watches look as if they belong in a sci-fi movie! Leave it to Japan to design a watch so ahead of its time.
Until Next Time,
J.M.
