If you have someone in your family, like my sister, that has a fetish for watches you might consider purchasing them an attractive watch case to store them in. Watchcases.com has a plethora of watch cases to meet the needs of luxury watch collectors (Rolex, TAG, IWC, Blancpain) down to the novice collectors, like my sister, of Fossil or Swatch watches. If their watch collection is full of over-sized luxury watches or sporty Fossil or Swatches, they definitely need a watch case to store them. The Large Watch Box: "Black-N-Blue" by Royce or the Jumbo Watch Display Case by LWC are both must see items. Large Watch Box: "Black-N-Blue" by Royce is just that. Genuine handcrafted black leather covers this beautiful case with powder blue colored velour-like material covering the interior and plush watch pillows. The pillows are edged in black leather so that your valued watch collection will pop out from the color contrast. Because of the special design of the pillows your watches will display at an angle to make it easier to catch the eye of your admirer. Jumbo Watch Display Case by LWC is another choice for storing your collection of fine watches. Big or small, the Jumbo Watch Display Case by LWC will work. The black leather exterior is stitched in white for a sportier look. The unique pillows are designed to house the big over sized men’s watches like Panerai, Invicta, and Zeno as well as elegant ladies’ Omega and Invicta watches. The pillows are male/female pillows; a smaller pillow is nestled inside a large donut style holder. The Larger Watch Holder looks like a donut when the smaller inside pillow is removed. This allows great adaptability for true collectors! The flexible dividers in the Jumbo Watch Display Case by LWC also allows more space for those truly over sized watches. This holiday season consider a beautiful watch display case from Watchcases.com for the man or women on your Christmas list. Question: I have a Panerai automatic watch and have been looking at your web site for a travel watchcase or watch box. I’ve got it narrowed down to the Venlo Milano 1 watchcase, and the Panerai Watch Case. The regular sized Venlo Milano watch case says that it only fits watches up to 50 mm in diameter. I’ve measured my watch and I think that it measures 51 mm. My watch also has a non deployant latch which prevents it from laying flat. With the Panarai watch case it states that it must be able to lie flat, so I think that one is out. I know that the Milano comes in Grande (Larger Size) but I’m wondering if you think this type watch and band will fit in the Milano Grande? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Mark Answer: Yes, Mark, you are definitely on the right path. Panerai watches are not only beautiful but also substantial in size. My suggestion would be to go with the Venlo Milano Grande. You said we way it holds a watch up to 50mm, we do not write that, we write that the case has a holder that measures about 50 mm, however it will only hold a 48 mm dial watch. So your watch exceeds the size limits of the standard by 3 mm! According to Thomas O'Brien of Venlo, the Milano Grande should offer just enough room for your beautiful automatic Panerai watch with that unruly deployant buckle. Plus protect it when you are storing it or traveling with it. I understand your concern about your watch not laying completely flat, but, even though your Panarai watch does not lay completely flat there should be adequate room because of the depth of the Venlo Milano Grade case. The Milano measures about 23 mm in depth. This should give plenty of room for the non deployant latch and the watch face to rest comfortably. Click the link below for the exact description and measurements of the Venlo Milano C1 grande. http://www.watchcases.com/venlo-case-milano-grande.html Grande Milano http://www.watchcases.com/ve-10111-w-c1.html Standar Milano Sincerely, Ann at Customer Service WatchCases.com Your best source for watchcases and watchwinders!Labels: Ann, Panerai, Venlo Case, watch case

How do I convince my man to get a watch case? You don't. You buy him one and you tell him it is non-returnable. "Hi honey, I am so excited about the gift I got you"....As he opens the box you have carefully and lovingly wrapped...."I sure hope you like it, because I can not return it". Problem solved. He owns a watch case and eventually he will use it! A watch case makes an awesome gift. We hear all the time from a man who says he thought it was the dumbest thing to pay a couple hundred dollars for a watch box but now that he has one he does not know how he lived with out it! I find many women to be too nice and too accommodating to their highly successful man. The woman searches for the perfect gift, for days or months and then tells him it is "OK to return it"! Now, get real! It is not! But if a man hears that, he hears that it is "OK", not like your girl friend, if you say the same words to a woman, she hears the truth: "Look I put a lot of energy into this and if you return it I will be crushed!" Remember, men do not think like women. Most men, and most women think pretty similar, just because of our culture. Few women collect watches and few men have enough sense to put their expensive collection in a proper watch storage or display case...I have long ago given up trying to figure out why! Just trust me. You do him a favor by shopping early and thereby forcing him to keep the gift. If you follow our advice you will not be wrong about the item you choose. Buying the best from the best stores is never a mistake. A watch watch winder makes an awesome gift. We are the best in the business of helping people with their watch collections! It is so cool to have all his watches in one place easy to admire and acquire! Same statement holds for a large 3 or more Watch Winder. A watch winder or watch display case makes an awesome gift. DonaldLabels: Donald, watch case, watch talk

QuestionWhat makes a good travel case for three watches? Oh and they are 3 different sizes. Susannah AnswerGlad to help you with this question! A case for different sized watches is sought out by many of our customers. Our best watch pillows for different size watches look like the cushion are for Jumbo watches ... and they are! However, these particular watch cushions also can fit a woman or man's watch with a 6-1/4" inside measurement. Our "Trea" case has these mulit-use cushions, as well as our "Roxanne" watch case. The "Trea" is has a glass top for display purposes, whether you are displaying them to share with a friend, or if you just like to look down to admire the watches, or just see what is inside. Best of all it is small enough to pack in your suitcase. But wait, you are asking glass lid in a suitcase? I put an extra handkerchief on the inside of the 3 watch case and wrap the display case inside my night shirt. Not a problem if it isn't rolling around inside. And who these days has that much room left in their suitcase. No one I know! The black exterior leather in Genuine Leather with a velvet like interior. I encourage you to look at the "Trea" if you have three watches to store or 3 watches you need to take along with you when you travel. Question:Why are some watch cases so expensive and some so cheap? Answer:This is an excellent question and deserves an answer. First of all, some customers assume it is because the retailer is being greedy. This is not the case. Retailers are in an extremely competitive business. Margins are usually as small as possible. Unless you can get a monopoly position, and even then in the long run it makes no sense to over charge for too long, high profits invite in competitors which destroys profits in long run. Apple i-phones are an example of how the market works, you have development costs, when things first come out they are twice as expensive, then after thousands of units are sold the price of manufacturing plummets. Economies of scale kick in, and as you saw with the phenomenal success of the i-phone the price can be cut in half! Ironically Apple got punished for lowering their price, all the angry early adapters who paid for the right to own the item first got mad when the next generation was cheaper. Apple did a good thing and the right thing for the consumer, but got blasted because the item was a hit. People felt Apple unfairly took too much money at first, when in reality, they probably made less selling the overpriced units than the cheaper units. Again, this is the issue of development costs. Things are cheap to make in quantity, but setup costs and minimum quantity requirements push the costs through the roof. Most products are not runaway hits, and so the time line for lower prices is usually much delayed....anyway. Watch Cases are not like i-phones. Our total yearly sales does not even come close to the i-phones daily sales. We never achieve economies of scale in manufacturing products and so our products are more expensive to make in general. Now specifically why is one case cheap and another expensive? Well with purses and other mass market products, Brand Names affect price. (This is a minimal effect in the Watch Cases market.) However quality ingredients affects price more than anything. Real leather versus fake leather. The cheap knock of fake leather knock off Gucci purse is an example of such cost of materials price difference. We sell a leather watch case called: Royal 12 Luxury Leather Watch Case with Glass Top. Pictured here. Some things to point out. 1. Real Glass- not plastic lid. 2. Latch- many cases do not latch. 3. Key and Lock- many cases with a latch do not lock. 4. Real Leather - many cases sold as leather are not, they are made from good fake leather. But the customer buying a $50 for case thinking it is leather is not an educated consumer and never knows the difference. Ignorance might truly be bliss. 5. Quality Leather- the grade of leather used can double the price. Cheap leather can sometimes cost less than a quality fake leather, but good leather, the kind you you can see, smell and feel. Well this is what we used and it is expensive! 6. Quality Leather is expensive because it is hard to work with and takes craftsmanship to put together. Cheap leather or fake leather takes a guy and a glue gun! 7. Stitched leather versus glued. Stitching is extremely expensive. 8. Fit and Finish. This is a real cost impact. 9. Pillows- a correctly sized pillow is expensive to make. Many cases sold are a good 15% smaller than these pillows, which are sized for the average man sized Rolex watch, but also sized to fit most ladies watches. Exact measurements are expensive. 10. Loss Leaders- Some large retailers sell non-specialized items as loss leaders, just to get you on their mailing lists. They know they can sell other things to you later. 11. Products that do not work are often dumped onto the market. Customers buy these cheap dumped items only to find out they do not work. But usually it is too late, the cost of return shipping exceeds the cost of the item so they make due. 12. Pictures might be worth a thousand words but a cheap watch case picture online can look almost like a high quality luxury watch case but do not be fooled by a low price! Touching leather must be worth a million words. Order one of these cases and touch and smell and you can tell! Labels: Donald, watch case

User_Name: G Williams, New York. Question:I'm looking for a 2 Watch Case suitable for traveling for my Omega Speedmaster Professional watch with SS bracelet and my JLC Reverso Duo watch? Is there anything you can recommend? Thank you. G Williams, New York. Answer:Thank you for your inquiry and after researching both of your watches I can honestly suggest for you the Venlo Biella 2 watchcase in the Italian Leather Grande. (Be careful though, watches smaller than 55mm swim in the grande case. We recommend the standard case 99% of the time, it is really large. The standard case fits most watches.) So a standard case would be good as well. Your watches deserve to be kept in luxury especially your JLC Reverso Duo. You have great taste in watches, may I add. If you need a winder for your exquisite watches, may I also suggest a Wolf Designs Winder?. Not only will you always be on time, you will be in tune. This watch winder is a show piece of style form and function a eye grabber if you will. I hope my suggestions have helped you today here at watchcases.com, we care about you after the sale Have a great day. Michele WatchCases.com LLC Support M-F, 10-4 Eastern www.watchcases.com LLC. User_Name: Julian Question: Hello - I'm interested in this product and any other case for watches sized to a 6.75" wrist, but this one seems to be best suited for me with the pillow design. Any other cases you could recommend? I have a Venlo case for a few of my watches on straps, but I really need something that can hold watches with bracelets sized for a 6.75" wrist. Many thanks. As a follow-up question, does the Venlo Capri storage box have pillows that will accommodate watches that have been sized to smaller wrists? Many thanks. Julian Answer: The circumference of the Venlo pillows is 7" with a certain amount of flex. However, there are so many variations and combinations of watch bands, buckles, and watch faces, we cannot say with absolute certainly how watches will fit in a particular case. Only putting the actual watch on the pillow will do that for sure. We understand your concern. Please feel free to call me in Customer Service toll free, Monday through Friday, before 4 PM Eastern. How many mornings has your husband asked: "Have you seen my watch?" This he says as he roots through his sock drawer frantically trying to find his Rolex before he rushes out the door. (His sock drawer, I mean his storage drawer for both his Gold Toe socks and his gold and silver watches!) To some this is as familiar as 'Have you seen my keys?". Lets face it, until he has a true storage area for his watches this will be your problem forever. Here in is the rub.... If you tell him to buy a box to store his Rolex watches, he thinks you are saying "Get organized". Well you are! So instead, buy a beautiful box for him, and tell him it is not returnable! You heard me. Men are stubborn at times, and prideful! So buy it before you need it and make sure the watches fit inside, but afterwards tell him it is not returnable! He will balk at using it at first, but trust me after awhile he too will become a convert! If he does not want his watches displayed most of our watch boxes will slip inside the sock drawer anyway. But to pull this off successfully without the non-returnable ploy you have to help him come to this conclusion on his own. Good luck! But here are some helpful hints: Some important points to keep in mind if it is stored in a watch box or watch case. for one is his watch will last longer and look better. For you it is they will be at his finger tips. Some other pointers: A lost watch is worth exactly nothing. A watch placed in the wrong place can easily be knocked over and damaged. Humidity and Dust are also big watch villains, as are five fingered lifters. How can you file a police report if you are not even sure where you put the thing last? OK, did we convince you? Now you ask. Which Box to Buy? Watch Boxes come in a variety of sizes and finishes. Taste is a big factor. But some questions might help you to narrow in on the right one for you. Does he love to look at his special toys? Is he the type of guy who wants the smallest possible watch box to handle? Would he even care if the wood finish on the case matched the dresser? Does he generally buy himself black or neutral tones in leather? Would he prefer to keep things dearer to him - because of cost or sentiment - in that large walk in closet out of sight? You know him best. Just don't buy him a gift just to have a something on that special occasion or holiday. Buy him a watch box he will use and later think: "how did I manage with out it?" A quality watch box or case chosen with care, will make his morning routine (and yours) simpler and quicker. His watches will look and be better in the long run. And shouldn't it be that way with the investment he personally has made in them? Would he want you put your expensive jewelry in your stocking drawer? I don't think so. He thinks too much of you and the value of those lovely pieces. It is even more important now to buy with an eye to the future. Quality and service count. That's what I tell our customers. Well, after I have asked them all the above questions when they ask me what watchcase or watchbox they should get for their husband's watch. Yea the one hidden down inside that sock. "Honey I found your Rolex!" Stop the madness, buy a box! If you can afford the best we suggest you look at the fine Venlo Watch Cases. Joyce Service www.watchcases.com LLC.
