Is anyone else as excited about the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics coming up this August as I am? One concern I have about watching them live is the time difference between China and the United States. I have no idea how many hours ahead they are, and if I'm going to have to watch events in the wee hours of the morning.
With the
World Timer watch by Crossover, however, it makes it so much easier to find out what time my favorite events are taking place in U.S.A. time. This watch has a face that is literally a map of the world, with a dial in the center and dials in the center of four countries, showing five time zones overall. The athletes could look at this watch and know what time is appropriate to call home, or a viewer could use this watch to know how late they are going to have to stay up.
Many watches have different time zones, sometimes on the same watch face or with multiple watch faces, but I believe this watch takes the cake in creativity. It's a clever mix of geography, convenience and watch fashion. The watches, as well as the countries on the watch face, come in many different colors, focusing mainly on bright primary colors. Another option for the fancy world traveler are diamonds in 1.75 or 2.25 carats around the bezel.
The Olympics bring many countries together to compete with camaraderie, and with the World Timer watch by Crossover, you won't miss a minute of it...whether it's in Beijing, London, Canada or anywhere else they hold the games.
Until Next Time,
