The long awaited sequel to "Batman Begins", "The Dark Knight" is being released this Friday July 18th. Christian Bale, the handsome Brit, is rich playboy Bruce Wayne a.k.a. the superhero Batman. With a duel personality, and a character with the desire for only the best, Bruce Wayne was dressed in a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watch. The watch flips open to reveal that there is more inside than meets the eye, much like Wayne himself. The face of the watch can also be flipped over and locked into place, like Wayne disguising himself as Batman.
There are many parallels between Wayne/Batman and the JLC Reverso. Besides having two watch faces or two personalities if you will, the watch is also fashionable like Wayne, the watch also gives off an image of power and modernity.
It might be a good thing that Bruce Wayne has a watch with two faces. After all, it is very important for a superhero to be on time.
