User_Name: Weinstein Question:Hello,
I just purchased an IWC 5001 Portugeuse watch. It is 42.5-ish mm
in diameter and weights 95g. You reference in your Orbita notes
that certain large/heavy watches won't work well (e.g. Bellino and
Orbita Compact Sparta). Is my IWC too large for these? What is
considered too large (diameter and weight)?? Thanks.

Answer:Thank you for your inquiry about the best Orbita winder for your
IWC 5001 Portugeuse watch! Our
recommendations for your luxury automatic watch with (we assume) a leather strap and the IWC seven day power reserve are as follows:
Bellino Orbita Winder http://www.watchcases.com/beblle.html
The Bellino winder fits in your hand yet is fully programmable.
The perfect size for traveling or for vault storage and accommodates
watches up to 45mm and under 100g.
Siena 1 Winder

If your collection includes various high end heavy and large chronograph
and diver's watches--this is the single winder for you. User-programmable
control allows head direction and turns per day (TPD) to be optimized for
the watch being wound.
Please feel free to call me between 10 and 4 Eastern, Monday through
Friday for any further questions or recommendations.
Sincerely,
Joyce
