Two issue must be addressed when asking about a watch winder being able to wind a particular watch.
1. Is the watch too heavy?
2. Is the watch face too big? ( The watch must fit on the watch holder and allow the lid to close and the winder head to rotate.)
Panerai watches are not only beautiful, most of them are also quite large. Because you did not specify if you have a Panerai Luminor or a Panerai Radiomir, (and there are over one hundred different models of the Panerai), I will give you some information on the Eilux 3444 DuoLux 2 Watch Winder, and then maybe you can come to your own conclusion.

The display case provides a clearance of 3/4 inch from the watch mount to the glass with the standard watch holder mount adapter, and 5/8 of an inch clearance from the watch mount to the glass with the gents watch holder adapter. In order to find out if your Panerai watch would fit you will want to measure the thickness of your watch and the maximum diameter including the dials.
The Eilux 3444 Watch Winder 2 has two individually programmable heads. Each head is factory preset to approximately 900 TPD (turns per day). You program the winder direction; clockwise, counterclockwise, or bi-directional. This product is quiet and attractive and hopefully will meet the needs of your Panerai automatic watch. However since watches vary in size and configuration of the watch band straps etc we do offer a return window in case our best guesstimate overlooks some issue with your Panerai Automatic Watch.
